Presidential Credibility

In times of need a country looks towards their leader.

In times of panic and terror the one person the country looks to is their leader. Whether it be a shooting, a natural disaster or even a financial crash we look to this person to tell us what to do. They must help us fix the problem, help us come together mourn and grieve, give us something to unite ourselves over.
The USA is yet to come under crisis whilst President Donald Trump is leading but it's clear that when they do he will have a hard time uniting his country. Personally I feel that Bush would not have been anywhere near as successful if not for the tragedy of 9/11 and if Trump wants to gain any credibility he's going to need a tragedy, as awful as that sounds.
The problem with Donald Trust is that he lacks the authority needed in a strong leader. He says what he thinks when he thinks it without huge concern. With absolutely no evidence he's stated that he had "found out that Obama has my 'wires tapped' in Trump Tower just before the victory."
As a Presidential Candidate he seems to have gotten away from many false claims. Denying mocking a disabled reporter. Stating he was against the war in Iraq. Repeatedly changing his statement on his relationship with Putin. Stating the Colorado caucus system was rigged for the Republican delegates.
As a President how long can he get away with this? There have been endless marches and petitions and talks on how to remove him from power, not only from within the USA but globally. How is he going to survive with so little respect? So little trust.
It is as simple as that. Two months into his presidency his approval rating stands at 36%. His highest of 46% compared to Obama's 69% on the exam same date within congress. Trump lacks the trust and credibility needed to be good President.
If he doesn't start earning it soon then it seems he'll be in trouble.
